A Giveaway! Finally!

So here it is...the giveaway! I know, it's about darn time, right? I'm going to be like Oprah and do some giveaways of my favorite things. For this first one I've decided to do a giveaway of my favorite Oil Pastels. You may remember them from this post about them. These are so fabulous to work with... I decided to give a box of 12 iridescent colors because not only do they add beautiful color to the fabric, but they also add such a great shimmer. And you know how I love anything that sparkles. I used some of mine to color this white Kona cotton fabric for an ATC.
and I used them to color these silk flowers for one of my mini art quilts.
So, please leave a comment if you would like to win them. I will leave this open until Thursday, (July 9) at 6 PM ET and then I will announce the winner on Friday morning. So good luck.

And moving on to other things...
Howard enjoyed the 4th of July -- he was sporting a glow stick necklace for the occasion. Luckily he isn't afraid of fireworks because a lot of neighbors were setting off their own.

It was a beautiful weekend and so far this week the gorgeous weather continues! Have a great day - I plan to sit outside and sew ALL day! What could be better than that?

I've never used pastels on material before so to win some would be great. Thanks so much for the opportunity!

I'd love a chance to win the pastels. I work a lot with fabric and never thought to try pastels on fabric.

Are you crazy.......you're giving these away!
Count me in.
The 4th July was like Nov 5th here in the UK Fireworks everywhere, which was cool as my Dad was from the US.

Hi Mary. I can't think of a better way to spend your day than sewing in the garden! Fantastic, Enjoy!! I love the pastel work on your cotton fabric. I've never used pastels on anything but paper and I've never entered a giveaway before. xx PS. Thanks for the tip you left on my blog about mosquitos in a garden pond, I shall try a fountain because they have already arrived! Tee Hee.
